In fact, there are various definitions of what the metaverse is and could be; everything from voxel-based games to Ready Player One-style haptic suits in perpetual worlds. At MetaAge, we see the metaverse as a platform where people can meet and get to know each other better, play together, and most importantly, just have a good time. As MetaAge, we believe that the first step to the metaverse is to expand the existing aspects of today’s 2D Internet to include new areas where people can meet, play, and spend time together.
MetaAge is the first real metaverse project on Solana. By pushing the boundaries of the metaverse, we aim to create a safe, fun, and shared space of social interaction. With MetaAge, we also want to support artists in this new era of technology and art. In the year of NFTs, Foundations and all kinds of digital art, we wanted to adapt to the present. That’s why we created various artistic facilities like art galleries where you can sell your own art or buy the works of other artists. Also, concert halls where concerts can be held by underground artists to big names to raise money for various causes.
So what awaits us in the future of the metaverse? As we said earlier, metaverse will open new doors for artists all over the world. Visibility for artists has already begun through NFTs platforms like OpenSea, Foundation, Rarible, SuperRare, etc. With metaverse, a new avenue will open up as collectors or simple art lovers will be able to see the art they want to purchase in a 3D gallery in a purely visual form. MetaAge’s art gallery serves a similar purpose. It is a new definition for a new artistic era!
Selling art or purchasing art is not the only thing possible in the bright future of metaverse, and MetaAge. From Lil Nas X to Ariana Grande, the big names in the music industry are giving one virtual concert after another. There are two reasons for this: one is that it makes fans around the globe enjoy their favorite singer sing live in the comfort of their living room, and the other is there is money to be made. For this reason, we have created a wonderful concert hall in MetaAge. In the future, we plan to invite singers, bands, orchestras, etc. to give visual concerts.
Similarly, the metaverse will also give new meaning to the streaming age of cinema and television. In the near future, with all the VRs, people will be able to walk into a movie theater, sit down, and watch the brand new movies that have recently been released, all in the comfort of their own room! But of course, you have to start somewhere. That is why we have created a movie theater in MetaAge. Our goal is to give new meaning to movie nights for the whole family, with all the free movie experiences we offer. Who knows, maybe in the future you will watch your favorite sitcom together with your new friends that you will find in MetaAge.
It is not all fun and stuff in the future of metaverse, or MetaAge. Metaverse will also create new meanings to online working as now employees will be able to meet with their bosses, team partners, or even friends to just talk and chat. We put conference rooms in MetaAge for this reason. Work-life will change with the future of the metaverse!
However again, it is mostly fun and stuff in the future of metaverse.
